Did you know there are real and cumulative spiritual benefits of meditation? Mystical experiences, different states of consciousness, heightened awareness, guidance, inspiration, and awakening experiences are just a few. Sometimes meditation induces the profound and unimaginable, and sometimes a prolonged practice fundamentally changes you.
Sister Dr. Jenna, author of Meditation, says: “This is what happens when you consistently meditate. You are inspired to become increasingly kind, generous, loving, and less dictated by the ego. It happens subtly over time, like a rose blooming inside you, eventually sharing its fragrance with anyone who comes in contact with you.” In this episode of Mainstreet Mystics, we explore meditation and ask two experts the bigger questions: what insights do we have from ancient wisdom traditions, modern science, and lived experience, and why do people have transpersonal, metaphysical and mystical experiences as a result of meditation?
